Most people do not understand you have to place/tie module positions to the ones provided in the template. Artisteer is amazing and does give you exactly what you see.
ARTISTEER BLOCK POSITIONS PROFESSIONAL
We have been designing professional templates for Joomla for more that 2. What you see in Artisteer is what you will get when you load the template, at most there may be a few settings you have to change in Joomla. If you want a name under a picture in the header, you are best off adding it into the graphic itself. Heres my tip to get the best of both worlds What I do now is to use the HTML generated output and create my own masterpage or nested masterpages. Did you assign "search" to an available position (for example user4 or left) and is it set to display on all pages or just some? You will be limited on the text you can put in the header by the font size being used and space made available for it. Cons: Without using the artisteer article and block controls, the html markup on my content pages must include all those many many lines of divs in order to render the pretty blocks and articles. Rounded corners work fine, a URL would be helpful for us to look at your site to see whats wrong. The top menu has to be assigned to the user3 position for it to work. You are talking about several different issues though it seems. I put a photo in the header, and would like to put the name of the person in the photo under the photo in the header.Īll Joomla templates created by Artisteer will have the same basic layout / positions. Also frustrated that I can't add more than 2 lines in the header. I loos the menu across the top, my rounded corners, my "search" won't appear, and I do have it activated.
ARTISTEER BLOCK POSITIONS INSTALL
So are you saying that we can spend 10 hours playing in Artisteer, but will only be able to have 1 layout option in the end in Joomla? I'm so frustrated that I get my webpage the way I want it in Artisteer, but when I install it into Joomla, it's just not the same. By default I do not add any style to the joomla module positions I built the Themler template. I wanted this so have come up with a simple solution for Themler Joomla Templates. Joomla has the module suffix option to add style switches to a module. Look at the forums at - one post has a layout of the Joomla template module positions. I missed the ability to use a module position for more than one task.
